Qatar’s Environment minister Sheikh Dr. Faleh bin Nasser bin Ali Al-Thani inaugurated the environment analysis and monitoring system in Doha.

These systems show that pollution rates are lower than normal in the entire country.

The minister said that dust in the air is not a major concern for the county.

It is because dust is not an industrial pollutant but a natural pollutant present in all countries.

But reduction in the ratio of dust particles will improve the air quality more.

There are 40 fixed and mobile stations for monitoring air quality across the entire country.

These stations are equipped with state-of-the-art devices and technologies.

He said these stations also have basic global air quality indicators and standards.

These stations have been installed near the stadiums where FIFA World Cup 2022 will take place in Qatar 2022.

These will be used to continuously monitor the quality of air in stadiums and nearby crowded places.
